ACE - Adult Community Education

Welcome to Our Website

Who We Are..........

ACE was founded in 1990 to provide community based education and training in the borough of Wigan and Leigh for people with learning disabilities. It is a voluntary organisation with charitable status which does not make a profit from any of its activities.

In 1991 the organisation became a company limited by guarantee and was managed by a Voluntary Management Group comprising of the four founding members and volunteers from a wide range of professional backgrounds.

What we aim to do.....

Our aims include providing a comprehensive learner centred service working to enable learners to make informed choices about their lives, by encouraging them to take an active part in their own community for their own and the community's benefit.

ACE Christmas party is at the Mercure Oak Hotel in Wigan on Friday 21st December 2018 12:30 - 3:45

ACE will close for the Xmas holidays at 4pm on Monday 24th December 2018 and will reopen on Wednesday 2nd January 2019
